GoLUXIGO Destination
Sacred Kyoto
An intimate 5-day journey through Japan's ancient heart — where centuries-old temples whisper in bamboo groves and geisha glide through lantern-lit streets.
Ancient Capital
Where Time Stands Still
Kyoto is Japan's soul — a city of 1,600 temples, moss-covered zen gardens, and teahouses hidden along stone-paved lanes. For centuries, it was the imperial capital, a sanctuary of refined artistry and quiet luxury.
With GoLUXIGO, you bypass the crowds. Private after-hours temple viewings. Kaiseki dinners in Michelin-starred ryokan. A maiko's exclusive dance in a 300-year-old ochaya. This is Kyoto as it was meant to be experienced.

Your Five Days in Kyoto
Every day is orchestrated to reveal Kyoto's layered beauty — from tranquil dawn temple visits to private evening cultural encounters.
Day 1 — Arrival
Arrival & Higashiyama Stroll
Private transfer from Kansai International to your ryokan in the Higashiyama district. After settling in, a guided evening stroll along the Philosopher's Path, ending with a private matcha ceremony overlooking the illuminated pagoda of Yasaka.
Day 2 — Temples
The Golden Pavilion & Ryoan-ji
Before the gates open, you enter Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion) in exclusive solitude. A private Zen monk leads you through Ryoan-ji's enigmatic rock garden, followed by a temple-prepared shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian) lunch.
Day 3 — Tea
Tea Ceremony & Kiyomizu-dera
A master tea practitioner hosts an intimate chakai in a 200-year-old machiya. Then explore the hilltop Kiyomizu-dera with a private docent, and wander the preserved lanes of Ninenzaka lined with artisan workshops.
Day 4 — Bamboo
Arashiyama Bamboo Grove & Sagano
Dawn photography in the soaring bamboo grove before the crowds arrive. A private boat drifts down the Hozugawa River through forested gorges, followed by lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant overlooking the Katsura River.
Day 5 — Geisha
Gion District & Geisha Encounter
An evening in Gion — Kyoto's famed geisha district. You are welcomed into a private ochaya (tea house) where a maiko performs traditional dance and shamisen. A multi-course kaiseki dinner concludes your journey in transcendent style.
Heritage Ryokan
Hiiragiya Ryokan
Established in 1818, Hiiragiya is among Kyoto's most venerated ryokan, nestled in the heart of the Nakagyo district. Its timber corridors and tranquil inner garden have hosted emperors, artists, and writers for over two centuries.
Each suite is a study in wabi-sabi — tatami mats, hand-shoji screens, hinoki-wood ofuro baths — blending centuries-old tradition with discreet modern comfort.
